Obituary of Freda Franzisca Huber

Freda Franzisca Huber (nee Zerr, formerly Runge) was born on February 22, 1927 and passed away quietly Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the age of 95. Freda was predeceased by her husband and father of her children Jacob “Jack” Runge (1969); infant sons Jerry (1945) and David (1947); second husband Ernest Huber (1999); parents Stephen (1976) and Anna (1972) Zerr (nee Sali); brothers Joe (Margaret), Roy (Alma), and Max; and sister Doreen (Leo) Klein.

Freda will be lovingly remembered by her children and their families: daughter Bernadette (Gerald), granddaughter Jacqueline (Troi), great-grandsons Ethan, Emett (Adriah) and Mateus; granddaughter Cynthia (Mark), great-grandson Joel, great-granddaughters Mia and Esmee; granddaughter Sherilynn (Jim), and great-grandson Jude; son Cliff (Del), granddaughter Stacey (Garth), great-grandson Kaden; grandson Kelly (Julie), great-granddaughter Israel and great-grandson Jacob. She is also survived by her sister Geraldine (Frank) Theriault; sister-in-law Sadie Zerr; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance can be made towards any needs of the Palliative Care Unit in the Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. Many thanks to Qu’Appelle House, Regina, SK from January 2017 to July 2020 and lately to William Booth Special Care Home, July 2020 and to all the helping hands and hearts that so gently took care of her while she was in their care.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.
