It is funny, when I think back on my memories of Auntie Brenda, two things really stand out in my mind. First was every Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa's, it was Auntie Brenda who would be the one handing out the Christmas gift. She was so organized, somehow magically navigating the pile of presents to balance the distribution of gifts and ensure the family could watch and enjoy each person as they unwrapped their surprise. The second memory that stands out vividly of Auntie Brenda is her laugh. When she would laugh, it was like it was coming from the depths of her soul and was one of those laughs that made everyone else around her smile and join in. She had the best sense of humour.
My heart breaks for the entire family as we say good-bye to Auntie. Mike, Mark and Michelle - my deepest condolences to the three of you. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
