Obituary of Gladys Nazar

Gladys Passed away at 98 years on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the Pasqua Hospital.

She was born in the home of I.B. Iverson at Preeceville, SK on February 6, 1924. After high school in Preeceville, she took a business course in Regina and begad working at Simpsons. Gladys retired after 30 years from the Provincial Government in 1986.

She married Harry Nazar of Preeceville in July 1946 and was predeceased by him in 1999. Although they didn’t have children of their own, they were members of World Vision for many years. Gladys and Harry were active in their local church.

Gladys was predeceased by her parents; sister Ruth Abrahamson-Fisher; and two brothers Bernard Iverson of Regina, SK and Dave R. Iverson of California. There remains only one sibling Ruby Goertz of Regina, SK; and many nieces and nephews, of which Dale and Shelley Goertz attended to her needs.

Funeral Service will be held 1:00 p.m on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK.  Those who are unable to attend may join us virtually at reginaap.com. Committal will take place alongside her husband in Preeceville Cemetery at a later date.
