Obituary of Faaye MacDonald

It is with great sadness that we announce that Vivian Faaye MacDonald, known to her family and friends as Faaye, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 78 years of age in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Faaye was born in Minnedosa, Manitoba to George and Pat Mitchell on June 20, 1943. Her hobbies included ceramics, stained glass, gardening, and running her green house in Craven. Faaye had a great love for her children and grandchildren.

Faaye is survived by her husband Leo; son Dan MacDonald (Penny) and their children Blaine, Taylor and Nolan of Regina, SK; daughter Dawn Frank (Dean) and their child Keenen of Porcupine Plain, SK; daughter Tania McMillian (Scott) and their child Mikaylie of Regina, SK; and brother Brian Mitchell of Pritchard, BC; as well as a large extended family and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her father George; mother Pat; and sister Bev.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Santa Maria Nursing Home. As well as the love and support of family and friends.

No services will be held at this time, but a celebration of Faaye’s life will be held at a later date.
