Norman was one of the most kind people I met at the Regina airport. It was just such a nice moment to say hello and have a short chat with him during the day or sometimes night(at the airport where we worked.) I worked at the airport for one of the airlines at the time. I was able to give Norman a pass to fly to Palm Springs one year for a visit. He was thrilled. He brought back some delicious treats as a thank you.
I just found out today that he passed away. I am saddened that he is not with us here on earth anymore. He was a really great man.
So sorry for the families lose. Some of Randy's most cherished memories are of fishing up north at Waterhen. It always seemed to be Randy and Dave who where the beer assistants and they always seemed to help themselves to one or two along the way. Norman was so good to Randy after his dad passed away. All these memories and Norman will be sadly missed by both of us for years to come.
