Obituary of Brian Dwight Berkan

Brian passed away peacefully on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the age of 68.   Brian was a fun-loving and caring family member who enjoyed telling stories and jokes to the family.  He was often available to help his nephews and nieces, and they in turn were a support to him in the last few years.   He enjoyed fishing and hunting and his prized trophy antler collection.  Most of Brian’s career was at SaskTel in Regina and he enjoyed 14 years of retirement at his home in Strasbourg.  He was predeceased by his parents Roy and Elizabeth Berkan; sister Patricia Sellers and brother Douglas.   Brian is survived and fondly remembered by his brothers Ralph (Lyda), Neil (Sandra), Larry (Cheryl), Earl (Donald) and Warren (Maureen); sister-in-law Carol; brother-in-law Roy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.   A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
