It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Ryan Terrance Racette, born on January 24, 1984. Ryan left us on March 7, 2022 at the age of 38, to begin his journey to the Spirit World.
He was predeceased by maternal great grandparents Joseph & Philomene Cappo; maternal great grandparents John & Mary Louise Rockthunder; paternal grandparents Angeline Rush & Martin Riche; Maternal grandfather Robert Cappo.
He leaves to mourn: mother Deborah Cappo; father Terry Racette; siblings Joey (Holly), Trina, Rayven, Jarrod, Evan; children Cierra, Chanel and grandson Angel; as well as his special grandmother Margaret Rockthunder; many Aunts & Uncles, numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Ryan “AKA Savage” loved to be in his studio where he sang and wrote music (Rap). He was independent and courageous, he loved the challenge of new experiences. He always had a smile for those he met throughout his life. Ryan will be sadly missed by his family, close friends and extended family.
A Traditional Wake will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the Piapot First Nation Band Hall. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from the same location. Burial at Muscowpetung First Nation Main Cemetery will follow with traditional Elders officiating. Please no pregnant women or small children to attend the Ceremonies, only attend the feast after the burial please if able. Covid19 protocols will be in effect.
