Birdie Thompson Galenzoski

”18 years a maiden, 44 years a wife, five children later,

that’s how Birdie lived her life“

Birdie was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Galenzoski; daughter Angela; mother  Annie  Bell; father William;  siblings Doris, Willie, Norma, Annie, Violet, Malcolm, Frankie, Helen and Laura in infancy.

She is survived by her loving children Tanya and her children Stevi and Riley, Tara, Chad (Monika) and their children Jason and Evelyn, and Michael (Anjelene) and their children Aubrey, Micheal Jr. and Clyde

Birdie married Harvey while he was stationed as an RCMP officer in British Colombia. Together, they had five children here in Regina. She had many passions over the years. From CB radio clubs, softball, fires, bending elbows and cards with friends. She enjoyed her time immensely on Last mountain lake where her and Harvey had built a cottage at Alice beach in 1984. Later in her life she took a real shine to interior decorating, fashion and having family at the “cottage Harvey built”.

She will be lovingly remembered for her sharp wit, her helpful household hints (spray it with vinegar), her words of wisdom (**** 'em, do what you want) and her fierce love for her family.
