I was very saddened to see this message about Larry. I worked with Larry at ISM / Westbridge, and developed great respect for him. He was such a knowledgeable man. He was, without doubt, the top capacity planning expert in Canada, if not North America. He had such insight and understanding of complex issues that I couldn't help but be impressed. Larry also taught me the value of automation compared to the price of software. He would trivialize the cost of a software package because of the massive benefit and value such software would bring. I think Larry was a very complex person, and occasionally he would share some of those aspects of his life, and impart some of his wisdom, which I appreciated and cherish to this day.
Regrettably, I didn't talk to Larry for a long time, but I think of him surprisingly often, and always will.
