John Jr. Sugar
1939 - 2022
“Moose”

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Jr. “Moose” Sugar. Our dad died peacefully with family by his side after a short but courageous battle with recent health challenges.

John is predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth (nee Toto) Sugar; sisters Madeline and Mary Sugar; brother David Sugar; paternal grandparents Joseph and Annie Sugar; and maternal grandparents Katherine (nee Mckay) and Solomon Toto.

John is survived by his adopted sisters Mary Anne Kaiswatum, Erma Crowe and Darlene Wesaquate; children Leslie, Jocelyn, Rhonda, Shelley, Darcy, Thomas, Trudy, Crystal, Clarence and Daniel.

We find comfort in knowing that our dad is no longer suffering and is re-united with loved ones in the spirit world. He held a special place in many hearts and will be missed by many.

Special thanks to Chief Mark Fox and Marilyn Kaiswatum, Harry Francis and Murray Ironchild for their guidance and Creeland Mini Mart Staff.
