Obituary of Ronald Horvath

Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Horvath of Quinton, SK on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the age of 65 years.

Ron was predeceased by his parents John and Rosie Horvath; and his mother-in-law Helen Maier.  His memories will live on through his loving wife of 38 years, Shelley; daughters Amanda (Leigh) and Ashley (Allen); son Trevor (Amber); cherished grandchildren who were his world, Madison, Payten, McKenzie, Jaxson, Oakley and Xander.  Also left to mourn are his brothers Garry (Brenda) and Ernie; father-in-law Richard; in-laws Carol (Edmond) and Doug (Pat) as well as numerous family and friends.

Ron was born in Lestock, SK and from a young age his passion and heart was farming.  He farmed together with his son.  Ron fulfilled his recent wishes of a “big to him” NH combine that no one could touch, clearing his land with his CAT and track hoe, his big red Case tractor and his new sled.   Ron’s five loves were family, farming, friends, fishing and touring around the countryside.  For the past 18 ½ years, Ron fought a long hard battle with numerous health issues.   We are so grateful to have had that time together, and he is now pain-free.    Ron will be forever loved, missed and cherished.   We love you.

Ron’s life will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Immaculate Conception R.C. Church in Quinton, SK.  All are welcome to attend.
