Obituary of Mary Jane Benjoe

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary “Jean” Benjoe.

Jean was predeceased by her parents Christina and Joseph Benjoe; daughter Shelly Kaiswatum; sisters Mary, Eva, Margaret; her brother David; and her common-law partner Steven Cappo. She is survived by her sister Roseanne; special niece Heather; special nephew Nick; great-grandson Dayshawn; and grandsons William, Brandon and Dylan. Jean leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean was a kind hearted, loving lady. She had a big heart for everyone and was always willing to help people. She loved children and raised them as her own.

She will be sadly missed by everyone.

A Traditional Wake will be at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Muscowpetung Education Centre. A Funeral Service will be held the following day at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the same location with an interment to follow at Muscowpetung Cemetery.
