Obituary of Marjorie Janette Lubenow

Marjorie Lubenow passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 1:55 am at the age of 67 years, after a long and courageous battle with dementia.

She is survived by her loving daughter Corrine Lubenow; as well as many siblings, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Emma Lubenow and has now gone home to rest with them, along with her three sisters and eldest brother.

Marjorie will be remembered for her stoic graceful nature, and feisty fighting spirit. Her two great loves in life were animals and children. They always brought out the best in her.  The smiles and laughter were contagious and would light up a room every time.

Her daughter wishes to send out much gratitude to the third-floor staff at Santa Maria nursing home. They are a wonderful team of nurses. Marjorie and her daughter were fully supported with empathy and compassion all the way through to the end.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK on Saturday November 6, 2021 at 1:55 p.m. Please RSVP by text or phone to 306-533-1165 as space is limited.
