Obituary of Wesley Roy Vance

Please share a memory of Wesley to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

With great heartache the family announces the sudden passing of Wes on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the age of 71 due to complications of going into cardiac arrest. Wes was born in Regina on March 10, 1950. He was predeceased by his parents Myrtle in 1989 and Roy (Star) in 1993. Left to cherish Wes' memory is his loving wife and best friend Debbie; step daughter Ashlynn (Shane) Selby; grandchildren Madison and Zander; sisters-in-law Sharon Ash, Karen Ash and Brenda (Sheldon) Zahn; nephews Nathan Zahn, Cole Zahn (Brittany, Quinn & Sawyer), Kinsey Zahn (Michelle) and Teigan Zahn (Danielle); as well as numerous dear cousins and close friends. Wes grew up in Bethune, SK. Throughout his life he was passionate and active in drag racing, playing the drums and in recent years he enjoyed jamming with friends and neighbors. Wes was totally in his element at his and Debbie's cottage at Eldora Beach. He could often be found on the water fishing or entertaining friends and family on their pontoon boat. He loved to socialize with all his friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Wes' life has been planned for Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the K + S Community Hall, Bethune, SK.
