Obituary of Joyce Elaine Penno

Joyce Penno, 91, of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 19, 2021.   She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence William Penno.   Joyce is survived by her children, Katherine (Larry) Dolter, Michael (Rhonda) Penno and Christine (Grant) Alexander.  She also leaves behind ten grandchildren – Andrea, Ryley, Heather, Sierra, Megan, Mark, Lindsay, Nathan, Matthew and Daniel as well as eight great-grandchildren – Freedom, Serenity, Caitlyn, Ethan, Hayden, Rose, Ewan and William; and special daughter Judy Penno.

Joyce was a loving mother, sewing most of the family’s clothing and always willing to help out where needed.  Whether it be hosting most family celebrations, looking after her grandchildren or helping to organize various golf, curling events or bridge games she was involved in, she enjoyed it all.  Her family will always remember many, many holidays playing various games of crib, card and board games.

A private family Celebration of Joyce’s Life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce’s memory can be made to the Regina Humane Society or a charity of choice.
