Obituary of Mark Ronald Thomson

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of my husband, Mark Ronald Thomson of Regina, SK.  Mark passed away peacefully with his loved ones by his side on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 8:29 p.m. in the Regina General Hospital at the young age of 53.  He was predeceased by his father Frank Thomson Jr.; paternal grandfather Frank Thomson Sr.; maternal grandmother ‘Nana’ Doreen Langford; and maternal grandfather Ron Langford. 

Mark left behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 23 years, Anita Mae Kofoed; adoring mother Maureen Thomson; beautiful sister Deborah Thomson, nephews Jorden and Brandon; paternal grandmother ‘Nana’ Eileen Thomson; sister-in-law Sabrina Kofoed, nieces Sanieca and Gracie, nephews Sonny, Elijah and Isiah Kofoed-Crane; as well as numerous extended family and friends.  He will be sadly and forever missed.  Mark could light up any room with his brilliant smile and laugh.

Mark loved hunting and fishing, fast cars and boats.   He was an animal lover.  His favorite place to be was at the family cottage on 6 Mile Lake in Ontario.   Mark loved his family dearly.

The family wishes to thank the Surgical ICU at the Regina General Hospital.  There will be a small gathering to celebrate Mark’s life at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 1849 St. John Street Regina.

When He is Gone

When he’s gone the pain is still inside your heart
and you just can’t bear to be apart.
