Obituary of Lorianne Katherine Sawatzky

It is with heavy hearts, coupled with loving memories, that we share the passing of Lorianne Katherine Sawatzky, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Born in Rosetown, SK on June 6, 1964 to parents Bill and Ruby Sawatzky, Lori loved the farm life that her and her brothers were raised in. After school in Rosetown, she attended Rosthern Junior College and later went on to the U of S. Lori loved getting to know everyone she met and was profoundly proud of those around her. She leaves behind her partner Darren Zipchian; daughter Kalee Kent; grandchildren Alyna and Harper; brother Dwight (Shirley) Sawatzky; sister-in-law Mary Sawatzky; nephew Mason (Bryn) Sawatzky; niece Paige Sawatzky; and great-niece Kadlu. Lori was predeceased by her parents Bill and Ruby Sawatzky; brother Merv Sawatzky; nephew Wade Sawatzky and Darren’s parents John and Gail Zipchian. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, in honour of her Mom.
