July 23, 1958 – September 18, 2021

The family of Anita Mary Cappo-Durocher are sad to announce her passing.  Anita was 63 years old.  She was predeceased by her son Patrick; her parents: father, Frank Kaiswatum; stepfather Frank Yellowtail; mother Florence Cappo;  paternal grandparents Angus Kaiswatum and Flora (nee Obey); maternal grandparents Joseph Cappo and Philomene (nee Wolfe);  sisters Loretta, Beatrice and Sharon; her Cappo family uncles George, Edward, Earl, Robert, Sam, Steven and Delbert; aunties Violet and Adeline; her Kaiswatum family uncles Delbert, Johnny, Ernie; aunties Lena, Bernadette and Florence Carrier; and nephew Jonathan Johnson.

Anita is survived by her loving husband William “Bill” Durocher;  her children: son Jamie; daughters Roxanne and Farrah;  with seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild: her brothers: Eugene (Sydney), Claude (Beatrice) and Ross; sister Elizabeth; uncles: Bert Kaiswatum, and Ross Kaiswatum;  aunt Janice Morin as well as  numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

A Wake will be held on Tuesday September 21, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. in the Muscowpetung  Educational Centre, Muskowpetung First Nation.  The Funeral Service will take place at  11:00 a.m.  on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 followed by the feast. Burial will be in Muscowpetung Cemetery.  The family would like to thank the staff who cared for Anita at the Regina General Hospital and the Pasqua Hospital; as well as the staff at  Paragon Funeral Services.
