Obituary of Sharon Magdalena Grad

Please share a memory of Sharon to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with sadness, but hearts full of love, that we announce Sharon’s unexpected passing on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.   Predeceased by her parents Mike and Theresa; brothers John and Jim; and her beloved fur babies “Tigger” and “Smokey”;  Sharon’s memory will be cherished by her son Jason and his wife Jenn.   She always put family first, and was especially fond of her grandchildren Jacob “Jakie” and Kira.  Sharon is also survived by her brother Jack; as well as numerous family and friends.

Sharon was a childcare provider for over 48 years, most of which were spent at Bo-Peep Daycare.  Caring for the children brought her great joy, and she was dearly loved by the children and their parents.   It wasn’t uncommon for Sharon to care for multiple generations of the same family – children who she had cared for in the past, later brought their own children to Bo-Peep.  She was a “people person” and was recognized almost everywhere she went.   Sharon will be missed by all who knew her.

Sharon will be laid to rest at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 in Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK.   A Graveside Service will be held.   Please meet inside the cemetery gates just prior to 1:30 p.m.   Those wishing to make donations in Sharon’s memory may do so to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK  S4P 3G7.
