It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lorne Dell LaRose on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Regina, SK at the age of 57 years.

Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Claudia Thomas; son James LaRose; daughters Allison Spencer, Charmaine Thomas, Amber, Zanae, Shakira, Shanley LaRose; brothers Darrell LaRose, Wendal LaRose; sisters Sharon Okeeweehow, Darlene Boorman, Lorna Flett, Tina LaRose, Carol Walters; grandchildren Wakiza Thomas, Kezza LaRose, Jayla LaRose; special brother in law Elias Thomas; special sister in law Farrah Thomas (John Kahpeaysewat); numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father Hector LaRose; mother Frieda Okeeweehow; brother Richard LaRose; sister Wendy LaRose; paternal grandparents Joseph and Virgine LaRose; maternal grandparents Norman and Gabriella Okeeweehow; granddaughter Diamond Nicotine; special brother in law Rocky Boorman; special niece Candace “Candy” LaRose; special uncle Albert Thomas “Seesim”; adopted mom Ena Myo.

Lorne had a huge heart. He worked in construction as a laborer. Lorne was a free soul who loved the Rolling Stones. He was a devoted family man. His children and grandchildren were his foundation. His greatest achievement was becoming a mooshom.
