Obituary of Keith Douglas Heibein

Please share a memory of Keith to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It breaks our hearts to say goodbye to our loved one Keith Heibein who passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Keith was born on December 30, 1933 to parents Erwin and Lenora (nee Hanson) Heibein.

On September 6, 1958 he married the love of his life Eileen (nee Falk), they were true soulmates, partners and best friends. Their marriage was on truly made in Heaven that endured on Earth for 63 years.

They always felt privileged to be able to travel extensively throughout Canada and the USA, as well as Mexico, Cancun, Disney World, Cozimel, Jamaica and the Grand Caymen Islands, and many camping and boating trips, they loved their life. Friends and family often called them “Gypsies” as they were on the road more then they were at home.

Keith wore many hats, from a farmer, driller, carpenter and all around handy man and school bus driver.

He was predeceased by his son Vincent; his parents; and parents-in-law Carl and Mabel Falk. He leaves to mourn his wife Eileen; three sons Russell, Darren (Brenda) and Dhrumil (Dorothy); five grandsons Chad, Troy, Jonathan, Devarsh and Matthew; four great-grandchildren Haiden, Avery, James and Brooklyn; and daughter-in-law Brenda and her family Melissa and Hunter.

The love he had for his wife and family goes beyond life and is eternal. He has left us a legacy of goodness and kindness which was a prized possession.

We know that God and many family members, especially his son Vince, will welcome him into open arms and we will, every so often, catch a glimpse of his twinkling eyes and happy smile.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date at the Bethesda Lutheran Church near Wilcox, SK.

Words he lived by

“Strong is thee that bends into the wind and bounce back again”

Fly high our loved one

A Celebration of Life for Keith will be held at a later date.
