Obituary of Helen Theresa Gartel

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Gartel on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Helen is predeceased by her husband Louie Gartel; son David Gartel; parents Joseph and Elizabeth Bulach; and sister Regina Metz from Penticton, BC. She will be lovingly remembered by her loving children Ken (Judy) Gartel, Sharon Labbey and Brenda Gartel; grandchildren Jason (Aimee) Gartel, Laurie (Mike) Labbey and Tammy Thompson; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers Leo Bulach and Auto Bulach from Kelowna, BC; sisters Katie Weisgerber of Vibank, SK and Jenny Rimmer of Edmonton, AB. Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Paul R.C. Parish, Vibank, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
