Obituary of Terry Daniel Sears

It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Terry Daniel Sears announce his sudden passing after a fatal motorcycle accident on Friday, July 30, 2021. 

 

Terry was born on June 17, 1981 to Dan (Tara) Sears and Shirley Sears in Regina, SK.  He started his high school career at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School but ultimately graduated in Regina at Martin Collegiate in 1999.  

 

Heavily influenced by his idol and father, Dan, Terry took to the trades.  He started his career in mechanics and moved on to steel work and welding but eventually found his calling with the Ironworkers in 2009.  Terry quickly advanced and became an integral piece of the 771 Local.  Terry loved sharing his passion and knowledge and found his true calling as Senior Instructor for the Ironworkers.  

 

He spent his free time with his beloved family and friends and was a proud member of the Bohemians Guild Motorcycle Club.  His favourite past time was fishing with his son, Seth and riding his motorcycle. He also had a passion for food and was a brilliant cook.  

 

There was nothing Terry couldn't do.  He was the dependable friend that everyone relied upon and loved.  Nothing will compare, however, to the love and devotion he held for his family but most especially, his wife Crystal, son Seth and daughter Charly.  

 

Terry has left behind an absolute sea of family and friends that will forever be in mourning.  

 

A gathering in Terry's memory will be held at a later date and details will be released in the coming weeks.
