Obituary of Norman Carl Gropp

Norman Carl Gropp, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2021 due to diabetes and congestive heart failure. Norm was a devoted husband to Andrea Gropp, wife of 33 years; Father to Adam Gropp and Samantha Legassic; Grandfather to Lila and Cohen Legassic; Son of Jim and the late Edith Gropp; Brother to Allan Gropp.

Norm was an incredible man with a natural athletic ability, passing on his passion for sports to his two children inspiring them to accomplish many achievements through his support and encouragement. He was the man on the sidelines with all the words of wisdom. He was the superhero who needed no cape. His warm heart and soft-spoken nature were admired by all who he met and knew. Although Norm was not always seen, his efforts were never unnoticed as he became an integral part of everyone's lives who he touched. His work ethic was unmatchable and although he held the title of Mechanical Engineering Technologist- sales, he was truly a jack of all trades. Norm achieved numerous accomplishments at work, while always making time to support each family member who needed him in ways that will be deeply missed.

Norm was the glue that kept his family together and became a rock for all to be able to lean on in times of need. His joy was found in bringing happiness to others and always making sure his family was taken care of. He was the man who made everything run smooth and was always there at the right time when help was needed, with no recognition required.

His kindness and soft-spoken heart will forever be remembered. A great man who was taken far too soon.

The family has chosen a come and go Celebration of life to be held on Thursday July 15 1:00PM-4:00PM at the family home.
