Obituary of Judy May Frankiewitz
It is with overwhelming sadness and grief we announce the passing of Judy Frankiewitz “Jude” on Thursday, July 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her parents Carmen and Freda Irwin; sister Carol; brother Jim; and parents-in-law Peter and Doris Frankiewitz. Judy is survived by her husband Don Frankiewitz; children Tammy (Troy), Andrea (Darcy) and Mike (Tracey); beloved grandchildren Cody, Marissa (Derek), Sydney, Madison, Marcus, Miller and Marlee; and great grandchildren Emma, Navin and Grace.
Judy loved gardening and on a hot summer day could be found outside in her yellow onsie listening to music and tending to her plants and lily garden she loved and created with her mom. She also loved to golf with her husband Donnie and children at Candle Lake and Sherwood Forest. Judy loved watching her children and grandchildren participate in their sporting events.
Judy was also employed with the Pasqua Hospital for 30 years, a job she took very much pride in. She touched so many lives while she was employed there.
With tearful eye we watched you
And saw you pass away
And although we love you dearly
We could not make you stay
A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the Best
We love you Mom
We would also like to thank all the nurses at the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic and special thank you to Dr. Iqubul and the nurses of the cancer clinic. Thank you to her family doctor, Dr. Alibhai and thank you to the emergency room doctors and nurses, especially nurse Dawn for your compassion and sense of humour and allowing Mom to listen to music in her final moments with us. Donations may be made in Judy’s memory to the Allan Blair Cancer Clinic.
