Obituary of Kenneth Wayne Bird

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Kenneth Wayne Bird on Monday, June 21, 2021 at the Regina General Hospital. Ken was predeceased by his father, Sydney George Bird; daughter, Shannon Dawn Morrissette-Bird, and dear friend, Janet Morrissette. Ken is survived by his mother Joy Bird; son Christopher Morrissette-Bird; grandchildren, Charleigh and Kaiden;  daughter Rebecca (Andy) Morrissette; sister Kathy (Paul) Murray; niece Shanda (Darren) Harder;  nephew Lance Murray; numerous extended family members and many close friends.  Ken was a proud member of Local 119 International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators & Asbestos Workers. He left a lasting impression with everyone he met and will be remembered, missed, and loved by so many. Ken was a huge AC/DC fan and all will think of him when you hear their music. Thank you to Gordon’s First Nation Reserve for the support our family has received during this difficult time.  A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
