Obituary of Edward Banda

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Ed Banda, a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend.

Ed was predeceased by his parents Tom and Mary Banda; sisters Marion Berner and Kim Rotelick; and brother-in-law Jim Yanko.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna; his children Cari (Craig), Erin (John) and Jeff (Sue); beloved grandchildren Katelyn, Sarah, Camryn, Josh, Delaney, Cassandra, Payton, Logan and great-grandson Jaxx. Ed is also survived by his brother Danny (Gloria); sister Bernice Yanko; brothers-in-law Lorne Berner, David Rotelick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dad fought a long, hard battle with dementia. Although his family will miss him dearly, we are grateful that he is now at peace.

The family would like to thank the amazing, compassionate staff at Pioneer Village. At Ed’s request, there will be no service. Family and friends are welcome to make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan Inc.
