My deepest condolences are extended to the family of Joyce Thomas, Lance & Debra and Dean & Debby and their families, on her recent passing. I met Joyce at WRC while I visited the veterans on ward 3-5. Joyce loved to Dance and she sometimes came to listen to the music during Happy Hour every Wednesday afternoon. She immediately began swaying to the music and it was evident she had an ear for music. One afternoon I videoed her and the her sons dancing to the Chicken Dance. What a delightful lady she was. RIP dear Joyce and I'm sure you are continuing your love for music in heaven.
Aunt Joyce always greeted Karen and I with a warm smile and big hug. We felt so special around her, no matter how much time had passed between visits. She had such a generous and loving spirit that will live on in her family and friends. Much love, Aunt Joyce, you were an inspiration to us all and we will miss you.

To the Thomas Family & Friends Your parents were my parents neighbors in Dilke! They always enjoyed each other's company. Especially the singing birthday card that wouldn't quit and they finally had to put it under a mattress downstairs. Lots of laughs about it. Joyce was always such a wonderful lady to visit with. Dear Family and loved ones of Joyce, my heartfelt condolences to you all. Joyce was one special person who loved with all of her heart. She was kind and considerate of others, the queen of hospitality! Even though I was her “ex” daughter-in-law, she never treated me any differently than the 21 years before...always a loving mother. I was always amazed at how Joyce and Larry’s place seemed to be the centre of “the family”. Never a dull moment, with the coffee pot always on. I’ve missed those visits and heart to heart chats we used to have before covid. She will always have a special place in my heart. Love and hugs to all. XO
Such a beautiful lady! So sorry to the families for your loss. I have so many memories of Joyce and Larry visiting my parents at the farm! How she loved to visit and to see all the relatives.
