Obituary of Bernice Flaman

Please share a memory of Bernice to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with extreme sadness, that the family of Bernice Flaman (nee Montan) announce her passing on Sunday, May 16, 2021, following a battle with cancer.  She was born September 25, 1931 to George and Anna Montan near Flintoft, SK, raised in the Limerick area and moved to Regina in the late 1940’s.  Mom loved to cook, took great pride in taking care of her home, and in her later years took up sewing for the Angels of Mercy to pass the time.  She will forever be remembered by her surviving children, Dwane (Tara) Flaman and Sharon (Allin) Susa; and grandchildren, Robyn Susa, Kristine Susa and Kyle Flaman.  Predeceased in 2008 by her husband of 53 years, Tony Flaman; her parents, George and Anna and ten brothers and sisters, George, Mary, Flo, John, Constantine (Curly), Wes, Millie, Jennie, Virginia, and Dan.  At Mom’s request and due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Private Graveside Service will be held for immediate family only.  Special thanks go out to all the nurses and staff at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit who helped pave the way to her peaceful end.  Mom was very fortunate to receive their compassionate care in her last days.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
