Obituary of Violet Margaret Pierce

It is with deep sadness that we announce Violet Margaret Pierce (Pitt) passed away at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. She was born in 1926, just shy of 95 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Darold in 2011.They were married almost 61 years. Also predeceased her parents Samson and Emmaline Pitt; and siblings Lester, Andrew and Ida.

She grew up in Newfoundland and still has some family there. Violet (Vi) worked many jobs throughout the years. The one she most enjoyed the most was her home daycare which she had for about 36 years before she retired. After Darold's retirement they worked together looking after the daycare. They both loved children and enjoyed being childcare providers. Some of the children who attended the daycare still kept in touch with them after growing up.

She will be dearly missed by her son Cecil; daughter in law Rhonda; nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and members of her congregation at Kingdom Hall.

A Private Graveside Service will be held.
