Obituary of June Carol Rowley

June Carol Rowley passed away peacefully at home in the Cupar Nursing Home on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the age of 80 years. June was born in Foam Lake, SK on August 18, 1940 and before moving to Cupar she spent most of her life in Kamloops, BC and then Regina. She loved knitting, cooking, playing bingo, going to dances on the weekends with friends and spending time with her family. Monday to Friday you could always find June spending time and chatting with everyone at her son Jimmy and Reena’s tool store, JD Industrial Supplies. She enjoyed spoiling the staff and customers there with her cooking and baking. Everyone there knew her as Mom.

June will be deeply missed by her children Sue Legien, Nancy (Mervin) Cave, Jimmy (Reena) Legien and Brian Legien; grandchildren Shantel (Brendon) Bode, Christina Cave (Dale Hilliard), Charlene (Mike) DeMaere, Barry (Neacaile) Cave, Courtney (Travis) Reynolds, Sheldon Rink-Deep, Kaitlynn Legien, Nolan Legien, Jared Legien, Layne Legien, Kasey Legien and Ricki Jay Legien; great-grandchildren Makayla, Taylor and Kelton Bode, Raiden and Hadley DeMaere, Riley Hilliard, Brynlee and Callum Cave and Darika and Anaya Reynolds. She is also survived by her brother Rob (Joan) Rowley; sister Janette (Raymond) Young and numerous nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her parents Jack and Betty Rowley and her son Richard Glen Legien.
