Obituary of Shirle Jeanne Bradley

Please share a memory of Shirle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.  Shirle was predeceased by her husband Jack on July 10, 2019.  Mom was loved by many.  The one trait that endeared us all to her was her never-ending attempts to show others of her love for them.  Mom never missed a birthday.  Her father, Gottlieb Klatt, was of German descent and was a Saskatchewan pioneer.  After his first wife died, he married Roselyn Dahlman, and it was this second family that mom was born into.  All together there were twelve children and they resided in Yellow Grass, SK.  Left to celebrate her life are her children Kim (Marjorie), Pam (John), Rogan (Wanda), Ward (Lisa) and Carla (Ray); grandchildren Morgan (Cody), Joshua, Jaime (Bryan), Sam (Janeen), Taylor, Mackenzie, Lindsay (Rob), Casey (Tom), Gabriel (Jill) and Noah (Jordan); great-grandchildren Austin, Grayson, Declan, Anna, Adelaide, Makena, Arden, Kieran, Malin, and Penn; sisters-in-law Peg Mortin, Helen Busche, Louise Hickey, and Ruby Klatt; brother-in-law Ken Anholt; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Shirle excelled as a homemaker, and made the best scuffles, ginger snaps, jam jams, butter tarts and pies. Seldom was she without something in her hands, and over the years she created many sewing and needlework treasures we will remember her by, including many sweaters, blankets and slippers.  Mom loved her grandchildren and watching them grow was her pride and joy.   She never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at sports and music events, and she was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand.  After her husband Jack passed away, it was as if he never left her side.  They lived for each other and were always together. Now their love has come full circle. Mom was devoted to her Lutheran faith.  A cherished parishioner of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for many years, mom took great comfort in her faith.  A Christian woman all her life, mom did not need attention for her good works.  Mom, you left us all your legacy of love to cherish.  A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
