Please share a memory of Marlene to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

LOGAN, Marlene Jessie
“Spotted Eagle Woman”
April 7, 1956 – April 7, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie after her courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Jessie passed away peacefully at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK, with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, on her 65 birthday (Full Circle of Life).

Jessie was born April 7, 1956 in Edmonton, AB. She is survived by her daughter Fawn Gafencu (Rick); her two grandchildren Donavin Logan (Lisa) and Rikki Logan; brother Bob Logan; sisters Dawn Stellmach (Alfred) and Adel Baerwald (Ted); also, her four nephews Shawn Baerwald, Jody Baerwald, Kyle Stellmach; and Carey Stellmach; and Jessie’s beloved cats Mittens, Ben & Jerry.  Jessie was predeceased by her parents Sam Logan and Jessie Logan (Duncan); as well as many other relatives.

Jessie enjoyed spending time with her daughter Fawn and her grandchildren, Donavin and Rikki. She was very proud of them. She loved her 3 cats, and they will miss her dearly. Jessie was a people person who brought laughter to the many people’s lives. Her family and friends will miss her quick wittedness, and how she was never afraid to be honest and speak her mind. She was a very strong spirit and an independent woman. She will be missed by many.

Thank you to Dr. Vanderlot and his team; and Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit 3A and Dr. Johnson. Thank you to all the wonderful nurses on 3A who took care of my mom and made her last days comfortable. Thank you to Elder Harry Francis for being there and supporting my mom and the family through this time. Honoring Jessie’s request cremation will take place, and no funeral will be held.  She wanted everyone to celebrate her life in their own way. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Jessie’s memory to the Regina Cat Rescue or any other Animal Charity of your choice.
