Obituary of Rajiv Gotherwal

Rajiv Gotherwal was a caring husband, father, brother, and friend. He passed away peacefully on April 1, 2021 at age 55. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Rajiv came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.

Rajiv was born in 1965 to his late parents, Kamlaben Gotherwal & Chandulal Gotherwal. After graduating from college with majors in B.COM, Rajiv worked as an accountant. He married Dina the love of his life in 1989, and together they had two children Yesha and Yash. 

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Rajiv. He loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for his family. He loved going on long walks with his kids and having conversations with them.

His pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. Rajiv is survived by his wife - Dina, daughter - Yesha and her partner Bala Unnam, son - Yash and brother - Manojbhai Gotherwal. And all other extended Gotherwal family members - Prithvish, Nitisha, Shaurya, Bhargesh, Rekha, Daisy, Atuleshji, Prachi, Varshita and his loving siblings, nieces, and nephews.

We mourn the loss of our father and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Private Prayer Service will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
