Obituary of Sally Ann Elliott

Please share a memory of Sally to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

After a lifetime of service to the people of Regina, Sally Ann Elliott decided to leave for a different adventure. On Sunday, March 14, 2021, Sally said goodbye to loved ones and started a new journey. A fixture of the Regina YMCA, Sally helped countless people start their parenthood journeys. It is safe to say she taught her classes with enthusiasm, honesty and a good dose of humour. In addition, Sally was always available to help those who needed support after the arrival of the baby, or for different circumstances. For her dedication, amongst other honours, Sally was awarded the Order of Saskatchewan and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. She will be forever missed by her husband of 52 years, John; daughters Carol (Rob), and Jennifer (Ryan); sons Bryn (Janis), and Dylan (Heather); her eleven grandchildren; sister Judy (Peter); and her life-long friend Gendarme (Jorgen). Sally spent some of her last days with the dedicated people of the Pasqua Palliative Care Unit, but as was her way, she requested a different path and went back home to say goodbye on her own terms, surrounded by the love of her family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hospitals of Regina Foundation. A small service will be held by her immediate family upon the conclusion of the Covid-19 pandemic, as per her request.
