Obituary of Joseph Folk

Joseph Folk February 23, 1928 – April 1, 2016 Joseph Folk, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 1, 2016. Joseph leaves his loving wife of 65 years, Irene; sons: Wayne, Bryan (Margaret); daughter Marlene (Darryl); brother Gary (Myrna); grandchildren: Christine (Jay), Nicole, Danielle (Sean), Breanne (Branden); great grandchildren: Hannah, Jenna, Elaina, Lydia, Caitlyn, Ethan, Nevaeh, Tessa, a baby on the way and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Joseph was predeceased by his parents Frank and Leona Folk; brother John (Marie); sisters: Margaret Materi, Isabel (Bill) Kaczmar, Irene (Ed) Miller, and Diane (Doug) Sherban. Joseph was born in Liebenthal, SK and moved to Regina in 1945 where he met his wife Irene and they were married in October 1950. He was passionate about his family, his friends and life. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh and a twinkle in his eye. We are grateful for having known and loved him, and he will be forever missed. A private family service was held.
