Obituary of Elizabeth Krushelnicki

KRUSHELNICKI, Elizabeth (nee Kotylak) Elizabeth passed away on September 24, 2015 with her dear loving husband Alex by her side. Born July 13, 1929, third in the family to Mike and Annie Kotylak, raised on the family farm of Candiac, SK, Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Mike Kotylak on July 12, 1970 and Annie Kotylak (nee Lesko) on November 20, 1991; infant brother Peter in 1926; brother Theodore on January 6, 1997; sister Catherine Kotylak on February 17, 2001 and brother in law Peter Kotylak on July 26, 1986. Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband Alex as well as many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Her love of flowers, growing a large garden, canning, yard work, cooking and baking were well known. She loved collecting recipes, dancing, singing, playing her guitar and spending time with her husband Alex while he played his button accordion. Going on trips to small cities and towns were a favorite past time. In 1981, Elizabeth and Alex enjoyed their 8 day trip to Trinidad and Tobago. Elizabeth will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her husband Alex and others. Prayers will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 55 McMurchy Ave., Regina, SK. Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St. Athanasius Ukrainian Catholic Church with Fr. Andrei Kachur and Fr. Basil Malowany officiating. Interment will follow at Regina Memorial Gardens.
