Obituary of Frances Dianne Rapitta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Fran’s passing on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was predeceased by her parents Ambrose and Catherine Bacsu; and her ex-husband Len Rapitta.

Fran is survived by her partner Ken McNaughten; son Dustin Rapitta; daughter Tania Rapitta; grandchildren Gage (Kelsa) Rapitta and Alexis Rapitta; and great-granddaughter Givens Rapitta.

She is also survived by her sisters Brenda (Tom MacKnack) and Sandie (Craig Coxford); brother Lorn (Judy) Bacsu; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Fran was born in Cupar, SK, and worked for many years at SIAST (Saskatchewan Polytechnic).

She will be remembered for her sense of humour and dedication to her job. Fran had many lifelong friends.

She also took a great interest in her family’s sports. Fran was a hockey mom. She made many road trips and rarely missed a game.

Friends wishing to make a donation in memory of Fran can donate to a charity of their choice. It is Fran’s wish not to have a funeral.
