Obituary of Andrew Mackenzie Ackerman
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Andrew Mackenzie Ackerman announce his passing on January 19, 2021. Andrew is predeceased by grandparents Paul Zazula and Dan and Josie Ackerman. Andrew is survived by his parents Dan and Brenda Ackerman; siblings Matthew Ackerman, and Janna (Joey) Staniowski; grandmother Helen Zazula; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend Amber Jackson.
Andrew was born on December 30, 1994. As a child, Andrew spent many hours on the farm with his family, was involved in many sports and activities and family road trips. One of Andrew’s passions at an early age was Taekwondo, earning his black belt by the age of 12. During his time at O’Neil High School, Andrew developed the love of sports and industrial arts. He lived by this hard work and dedication applying it to all aspects of his life, including his career as a journeyman sheet metal worker. Andrew was proud of becoming the small job foreman for his company. He loved the outdoors and spending time with Nova and his family, whether it was on the farm or on the lake, these brought joy into his world. Andrews’ infectious smile and mischievous ways will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
