Weep not for me when I have gone
For I have not gone far
Some days you’ll see me in the sunrise
And in the restless clouds.
You’ll hear me in the bird songs
And when the waves lap on the shore
Take me to my resting place
Among the hills and trees.
(E. Davidson 2009)
At the age of 80 she began writing short stories and poems which often appeared in the Seniors Living Newspaper. Mom spent over 60 years at her favorite place, Lake Katepwa, the place that inspired her to write. Mom requests no funeral service and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sask Parkinson Disease Foundation.
