Obituary of Fred Frank Popp

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Popp on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the age of 100.

He was predeceased by his wife, Agnes, sister Thelma, and parents, Jacob and Karolina. Left to cherish his memory are his daughter Carol (Greg) Lett, grandchildren Kristin and Kayla Lett, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Fred was born in Bredenbury and grew up on the family farm near MacNutt, SK. He married Agnes on September 30, 1961 and they began their life together in Regina. Fred and Agnes spent many evenings playing cards and enjoying the company of their friends and family. He adored gardening and was meticulous in his yardwork. Fred’s most cherished hobbies included fishing with “the boys” and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered for his quick wit, kind heart, and generosity.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home for their care and compassion.
