Elsie Sveum (formerly: Leswick, nee Paley)

“I Love You with my whole heart”

With great sadness in our hearts, our dear mother passed away at the age of 95.  Mom worked most of her life in the restaurant business and was well known far and wide for her famous “Cinnamon Buns”.  In her retirement her zest for life really came through when she was residing in the Queen Victoria Estates, where she spent many evenings swinging around the dance floor.

Elsie was predeceased by Leonard Sveum and Alex Leswick.  She will be lovingly remembered by her children Glinda Digney (Russ), Terry Leswick (Ang) and Sherry Straka (Paul); 6 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A huge thank you to Grey Birch Acres Care Home whose compassionate care was of great comfort to all of us.

A graveside memorial will be held in the spring where she will be laid to rest with our father.
