Obituary of Sandra Mae Papequash

Suddenly on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, Sandra began her journey to the spirit world, where she will be met by her loved ones who went ahead, dad Leonard; mom Barbara; brother and sisters Marvin, Tanya, Chasity, and Teri-lyn; grandmother Joan; and aunts and uncles too numerous to name.

Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her family: brothers Ashley (Jaclyn), Justin, Michael (Ryanda); sister Colleen; 6 children; grandfather Arnold Desjarlais; aunts and uncles Hertha (Darcy), Roberta (Warren), Delores, Ken, and Kevin (Michelle); special grandmothers Anita Papequash and Karen Nahnepowisk and numerous other relatives and friends.

 A private family service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the Piapot Band Hall, Piapot First Nation. Due to Covid-19 restrictions only 30 people may be in the hall or at the graveside at one time.

A Celebration of Sandra Mae’s Life will take place at a later date when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
