Obituary of Connie Lynn Plosker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Connie Lynn Plosker on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 64. 

 

Connie and Terry were high school sweethearts. They were married in October 1972 and started their family shortly after. She worked in medical offices for several years while running to hockey, baseball and dance for the kids. Connie went back to school at the age of 40 to become an LPN. Through her career she worked in homecare and at the Pasqua Hospital until her retirement almost five years ago.

 

Since retirement, Connie and Terry have spent most of their time in Mexico. They discovered Cozumel about 30 years ago and after several years of visiting, they purchased a home there. While she loved sharing her time there with family, friends and volunteering, Connie’s favourite days were spent sipping wine by the ocean with Terry watching the planes come in.

 

Connie was a splash of colour and brightness everywhere she went. She enjoyed everything pink, blingy and of course matching from head to toe. She had a true passion for shopping and her monster cookies are legendary. She loved her kids and grandkids dearly; Connie was so proud of them.

 

Her smile and laughter will be deeply missed by her husband Terry; son Bernie (Paula) Plosker, daughter Wendi (Come) Prefontaine; grandchildren Carter and Willow Plosker and Livia Prefontaine, as well as her mother Georgina Perry and brothers Keith and Warren Perry.

 

Due to Covid-19, a service will not be held.  Instead, please have your own private moment remembering and raising a glass to Connie. A sincere thank you to all the family and friends who have offered their support and condolences.
