Obituary of Helmut George Schick

Helmut was born on May 1, 1935 in Spring Valley, SK and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 in Pilot Butte, SK.  He was predeceased by his wife Vera; parents Christian and Emma Schick; sisters Evelyn (Martin), Louise (Charles) and Shirley; brothers Fred (Eileen) and Brian (Sherry); sister-in-law Doris; and brothers-in-law Dick and Harvey. Helmut will be missed by his children Alvin (Kathy), Carol Mignon and Darren (Tracy). Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Kyle, Brendan, Emily and Sarah.  Helmut will be missed by his good friend Ernie Tuchelt; brothers Frank (Barbara), Arnold, Jacob, John (Marcella), Ernie (Ann); sisters Anne Switzer and Linda (Peter) Barry; sister-in-law Norma Goebel; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at St. George Cemetery in Pilot Butte, SK. In lieu of flowers donations in Helmut’s memory may be made to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Regina Humane Society.
