Tyler M. Weber posted a condolence

This is Tyler Weber, Dales nephew. My wife and I were just reflecting on how Dale was this first person to arrive at our wedding reception a few years ago. Dale and I spent a good hour in the parking shooting the breeze and scoping out my truck. I recall him saying that it was too late for me to run now and let out a huge belly laugh! What a guy. He will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Thank you gord this is Connie. It's been tough I'm not going to lie. I wish I didn't find him cuz that memory will always be in my head. Thanks for the condolences. In the spring I am going to take his ashes and bury him with his mother. I really hope the Fowler family can be with me when I do it. They need closure too. The darn covid really ruined what I wanted to do for him but we had to stay in budget and we did. He deserves all of our family to be there.

I am Dale Fowler's daughter, Connie Brinda. I am his only child and that is how he loved me like his one and only.
We had a lot of great times together that will always be remembered and never forgotten. My father had a heart of gold. If any of his friends were in trouble and needed his help he would drop what ever he was doing at the time and go and rescue them. That's just the kind of gentle soul he was. He came to my grade 12 graduation so proud, not just that I had graduated but because I already was starting a job as a Procurement Officer in July of 1998 with Advanced Education & Employment. A month after I had graduated. Once I turned 16 years old I was able to make my own decision on seeing my father and my mother didn't have a say anymore. That was the happiest day of my life, other then happy my children later on in life. My dad and I were so happy that we were together again. I Waited 8 years to see or even speak to him on the telephone and I know he felt the same way as I did. He was driving semi-truck and had his own company at that time so we would wait until I was out of High School for the summer and he would take me all over the United States for a month. We caught up on all those years that we missed together. We Both got a lot of closure on that trip. Then the next summer break he took me in his semi-truck again and we went all over Canada. If I ever needed him no matter what the circumstances were, he would help me with no questions asked. He was the best father anyone could ever ask for. I love him and always will. I know he's happy in heaven with his mother since they were so close. His Mother, Father, Brother, sister and nephew were waiting for him at the gates of Heaven. My father had 3 grandchildren...Faith 19, Kaitlynn 17, and Andrew 16. We all miss him dearly and there wont be one day that goes by the We won't think of him. He will be in our hearts forever. Love always and forever the Fowler and Brinda Family.

Hey Judy this Connie. Thank you for your condolences. It means alot to me and the entire family. Once we get a handle on this covid next year I want to go to bring my dad's ashes with me to Estevan and have a celebration day for my dad. The Fowler family wasnt able to say goodbye like my family did. I would like to have the entire family there on that day and I'm going to bury his ashes in with his mother. He loved his mother so much. And once we do this he will be set free and be with his mom.

Dale and I were friends for about 55 years. When we were much younger, we worked with the fair that came through Estevan and when we were done that year, Dale became a short order cook and moved up to Regina where he eventually became a trucker. Through all these years, we always stayed in touch and when in each others city, always managed to visit. Dale phoned all the time, as it was his way of visiting. We were in shock to hear of his passing and he will be missed. RIP Dale
