Obituary of Donna Margaret Louise McGinnis

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Donna Margaret Louise McGinnis (nee: Deschambault) on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her loving husband Bill in 2013; sisters Rosalie, Marjorie, Audrey, Pinky, Sharon, Patricia and Diane; brothers Tom, Darryl, Ron and Dale. Donna was a great Mom and friend to her daughters Wendy (Rick) and Brenda (Larry); a wonderful Grandma to her grandchildren, Kimberley (Trevor), Kelley (Jason), Dustin, Breeann (Shayne) and Tyler (Lindsay); and a special Nana to her great grandchildren Caelan, Marley, Delaney, Katey, Brynn, William, Jacob and Bennett. The middle child in a family of fifteen, Donna is also survived by her sisters Iris and Joyce and her brother Rick.

Donna was energetic and caring. She was always eager to play games and cards, bake, shop and teach her granddaughters to knit and crochet. Sunday family dinners, breakfasts and time spent with her family meant the world to her. 

The family thanks Doctors Meena, VanRooyen, Moola and the nursing staff at the Pasqua Hospital for their support; a special thank you to Dr. Tsoi for her calming guidance through a difficult time.
