JOAN GWENDOLYN THOMPSON (nee Birley)
1929 – 2016
It is with great sadness that the family announces Mom’s passing on Monday, March 21, 2016. Joan was predeceased by her parents Edward & Judith Birley, her husband Ronald (2013) and brother William (2013). Joan is survived by her children Linda and William (Rosanna) as well as her beloved grandchildren Sierra & Brandon. Joan is also survived by nephews Dale & Scott Birley, Peter Thompson and Rick Parker and nieces Susan Thompson & Judy Lein. A service commemorating Mom’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday March 26, 2016 at Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Ave., Regina, SK with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.
