Obituary of Glen Takeo Sano
It is with profound sadness that we announce Glen’s passing on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at the age of 63 after a short battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents Kanematsuo Ken Sano and Fusako Florence Sano (nee Tsujimoto); sisters Joyce and Nancy Sano; brothers Dennis, Gary, Regan and Robert "Bob" Sano; as well as several relatives in Toronto and Japan. Glen is survived by his loving twin brothers Brent and Brian Sano; special friend Yvonne Fournier; sister-in-law Debbie Sano (nee Gushulak) and her family of Atikokin, ON; as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins in Ontario and Japan. Glen attended Douglas Park and Cochrane High Schools. He worked at the Holiday Inn Offsale for several years. Glen suffered a back injury and could not work. For 25 years he was a family caregiver to our mother Fusako, sisters Joyce and Nancy and brother Bob Sano all of Regina. Due to Covid-19, there will be no funeral service, and a cremation has taken place. A special thank you to EMS, Regina General Hospital emergency staff, doctors and staff at MICU and all the doctors and staff of 5E for your compassionate care of Glen. In lieu of flowers, friends so wishing may make donations to Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (http://www.saskcancer.ca/) OR Allan Blair Cancer Clinic at 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK.
In Loving Memory
Glen Sano
