Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother and grandmother. We have many good memories of your mom from our younger years at the cottage and your home on Montreal Crescent. My mom (Grace) worked with Eva at the Plains Hospital and was sad to hear of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We know your mom will be sadly missed.

We enjoyed watching the online funeral mass today. My aunt Eva was a lovely lady! I still enjoy the picture in my mind of her standing in her hill side vegetable garden Leaning on her hoe greeting us as we drove by. At that time we would be going to my mom and Joe’s cabin further on down the road. My mom was Toby Spanier (Junor). I am a niece Karen Albert from Edmonton Alberta. We left Regina in 1966, but kept up with family events, etc. through my sister Jackie Foord. Jackie’s son and family took over the family cabin. It’s called The Four Foordies, at 440 on the lake road. I extend my sympathy to Auntie Eva’s children, and all the extra children in the family. I have a fond memory of my sister and I going to auntie Eva and uncle George’s place in the old wartime huts to watch I Love Lucy on their tv in 1953. I hope your mom is now reunited with her husband and heavenly children. Sincerely, Rick & Karen Albert
